2020 has been an insane year.
No one was prepared for this. So much stuff has happened and changed that we never really had so much time to adjust.
But, here we are.
We are all trying to survive by adapting to the new normal.
I have been at home more than I have ever did. Quite ironic because I have always been “working at home” but I never felt more at home than ever.
And with that, I have noticed how people had different ways of adapting and evolving with this change.
Some people learn new skills, some shifted careers, others just binged so many Netflix shows. lol
In my case, I only tried to keep myself sane.
Yes, Nothing more.
I just lived through this year surviving it one day at a time.
God has been great. I still have a job. All my needs are being met. My wife and I are enjoying the newly married life.
One of the ways I have kept myself sane is through creativity.
I’ve learned a lot of new skills over the last 8 months — specifically household skills like cooking. Ask my wife. She said she loves all the food I prepare. 🙂
I’ve read a lot of books, worked so many hours and much more.
Having this blog is one of my outlets for creativity.
This is why after much thought and as this year is about to end, I decided to restart my blog.
(I’ve also created a new blog where me and my wife document moments in our lives — in case you are interested in that.)
For those who have been following me ever since (which is probably zero. lol), I have been blogging since the glory days of Blogger and pre-Twitter days.
I remember how it was so much fun reading the entries of friends and online acquaintances.
Much has changed since then.
But, here I am still.
I completely scrapped out my entire ‘old’ website which had posts dating back from 2007 and started this new one.
Doesn’t matter. I just wanted to start fresh. 🙂
I don’t care if no one will read all my entries anymore. I’ll blog anyway.
What can You Expect from This Blog?
I’ve actually thought about this question over and over in the last few months.
I don’t want to spend some of my extra time for blogging without a plan.
So, I came up with one.
Instead of just documenting my daily life, I will use this as an accountability tool to help me accomplish more.
As an SEO and online marketing guy, I have learned how to compartmentalize problems and goals into projects. I am planning to do the same for this blog.
I will go through life one project at a time.
This is going to be the theme of this blog and that’s what you will be expecting should you be visiting this site often.
Anyway, that’s it!
I am officially back to ‘blogging’ and I’d be glad if you could join me in this journey. Feel free to sign up below if you want to be updated.
See you around!
