I haven’t been much of a new year’s resolution kind of guy.
This new year, I haven’t thought about the things I’d like to “change” in myself.
But, I thought more about what helpful stuff I could add to my routine.
This year 2023, I decided to start a gratitude journal.
Each night before I go to sleep, I will simply list down all things that happened in the day that I am grateful for.
I thought it’s going to be a short list every single day. I just wanted to maintain consistency.
To my surprise, after a week the list got longer and longer every day.
There definitely is so much we have to be thankful for. I am loving this exercise so far.
It’s like my mind just actively is seeking for things to be grateful for. I’m totally in for that.
Hope I could keep it until the end of this year — or forever!
